DJ Bonics
Bonics is an eighties baby and Philadelphia native who has an itch to change the world. He found himself on the west side of the state when he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh.That is where he began to learn the art of dee jaying. Without hesitation DJ Bonics has become one of the most versatile Dj's on this party rocking planet. He also has become a staple in the mixing culture of Pgh whether he likes it or not. He made his mark in College/Urban/Pop radio in the City of Bridges, with an audience who has literally grown with him. Bonics still host one of the most top rated evening shows on 96.1 Kiss. Dj Bonics combines old school classic party rocking, turntablism, and his knack of on the spot creativity to move the crowds. Versatile is an understatement. He's been able to open up for acts like, Dave Chapelle, Jay-Z, T.I. Lupe Fiasco, Marz Volta, and the Wailers. He also feeds the ears of club goers nightly in various spots in Pgh and has taken his humble mixing power to cities like Philly, Vegas, and Panama Beach Florida. DJ Bonics not only mixes classic party favorites but schools and surprises his crowds by incorporating several genres of music in one set. Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Rock, House, Pop, Electro, Mash-up and maybe a Dj Bonics exclusive as he dabbles in the production arena.
